Uli Barda-Hare and Tuff Cutter

Established in 2001 Sandheide Farm sits on the former game- bird farm of the Olde Pheasantry Gun Club, its facilities easily converted to an equestrian facility with ample pastures, boarding stable, indoor and outdoor riding rings, and wooded trails to hack on. Sandheide Farm is also home to a permanent tiltyard and mounted archery course, one of the few in Ontario, making it an entirely unique equestrian facility both in history and features.
Located in Norfolk County, just west of Simcoe Ont. the farm offers lessons in English riding disciplines, training of horses, boarding, and clinics. We welcome all breeds and disciplines.
Owners Uli Barda-Hare and Dennis Hare pride themselves on the quality of care enjoyed by the horses, boarders and students as well as the fun and supportive atmosphere they have fostered at the farm.
Dennis is employed in the agricultural feed and seed industry and makes valuable contributions towards the farm’s resources due to his knowledge in this field as it applies to land management.
Uli has been involved in the equine industry since 1989 and is responsible for the barn management and as the riding coach, some of her personal achievments include:
• Successfully showing hunters as a teen
• Graduating from the Equine Studies program at Humber College
• Working for Minshall Farm at Woodbine Racetrack
• Finding Tuff Cutter at the Fort Erie Racetrack and training him up to Prix St. George.
• Qualifying and competing multiple times for the Canadian National Championships with Tuff Cutter
• Awards for both horse and rider 1995 CADORA (Canadian Dressage Owners and Riders Association)
• 1995 Ottawa area Level 2 Reserve Champion
• Earning her EC (formally CEF) Coaching Certification in 1999.
* Being nationally ranked within the top 20 in Canada at the advanced level for dressage.
Uli has had the pleasure of training with:
* Pat Carter and Denise Stoddart in western pleasure while attending Humber College.
•Dr Yvette Vinton DVM (Canadian Endurance Racing Team member), completing many North American 50 and 100 mile races, and worked as a personal groom during the World Championships in France.
• Simone Williams (former Canadian Dressage Team member) for 2 year, accompanying her to Australia for CDI*** competition, also to Florida for the final selection trails of the Pan Am Games.
• John MacPherson, member of the Canadian Team, FEI Competitor and National Judge. John trains with Christlot Boylen and Udo Lange, both from Germany.
• Ridden in many clinics with Cindy Ishoy, Penny Zavitz-Rockz, Ashley Holzer and Ashley Wright.
